It is with much sorrow that I write to inform you that Cassandra passed away on Tuesday, Septermber, 13, 2011. She was 46 years old. She is survived by mother Elizabeth David and father, Tony Austin. Three siblings, six children and seven grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
Memorial Services will be held Friday Sept. 16th at 2:00pm at Kingdom Hall in Winterville, GA
DeVon Lewis competed in the AAU Area 5 National Qualifier for Track at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte during the first weekend in July. He competed in 6 races; won 1st Place in 5 of them and 2nd place in 1 of them. The results are as follows:

4 by 4 Relay Team - 1st Place
4 by 1 Relay Team - 2nd Place
He along with a number of his Track Teammates will be competing in the AAU National Junior Olympics Championship in New Orleans from July 30 - August 6. In addition to these wins and prior to the competition in North Carolina, he had attained District Champion of the 100 meter and 2nd Place in the 200 meter when he competed in Augusta, GA. DeVon is the son of DeVon J. Lewis, the grandson of James and Sandra Lewis, and the great grandson of Mannie Lee and Sylvia Lou Raiford White
